Requirements

Microsoft Visual Studio 2005, 2008 or 2010Any version except the Express versions, which do not support Add-Ins.
SQL Server Compact 3.5This component will be downloaded and installed automatically during the installation of the Multi-Language Add-In, if it is not already installed on your system.

Trial version

Using an unlicensed version, you can enter a maximum of 100 translations into your project. Not more than 50 of these will be added automatically from the translation memory

SQL Server installation for the Multi-Language Global Database
This installation will copy an SQL Server database file to your computer, attach it to an existing instance of SQL Server Express (2005 or 2008) and configure the Multi-Language Add-In to use this file as its global translations database. (It will not install SQL Server itself.)
The standard installation uses an SQL Server Compact Edition database (or an Access database for VS 2003).

Windows 2000, XP or VistaWindows 2000 and later provide full support for Unicode and for Input-Method-Editors (IME). Windows NT 4.0 supports Unicode, but does not support Input-Method-Editors. Windows 95/98/ME do not support Unicode.

Using an unlicensed version, you can view unlimited text strings. However, you can only edit strings if there are less than 50 strings in the resource file.

Requirements

Microsoft .NET FrameworkMulti-Language Database uses version 2.0 of the .NET Framework. If it is not installed already, then it will automatically be downloaded and installed during the installation of Multi-Language Database.
MDAC 2.7If you are using Windows XP, then you probably have this installed. If not, you can download it from the Microsoft MDAC download page. You may use a newer version of MDAC.

Trial version

Using an unlicensed version, you can only translate 50 strings in your database.
