How to Hide Language column?

I'm a developer and I don't speak more than 2 languages. I'm doing the English strings as the default language and understands the Danish strings as well. So what I would expect, is to be able to select the languages I want to see - and hide all other languages. When I import a language, I might "un-hide" it temporary, but for sure I won't need to see all languages at all times.

Today, when I use the tool I have to see all the language columns - is it possible to hide all languages but e.g. English and Danish? We are expanding our language support to around 20 languages - looking at 20 language columns is not easy when there is suddenly less than 75px per language on my FULL HD screen. I can imagine loading the languages is taking longer as well (it sure feels slow at least).

This column problem is of course an extra big issue for large projects, where loading times etc. is a limitation when working with translations. I estimate I have around 1.000 files to localize.

Hi Nick,

normally, the columns are constrained to fit in the window width. If you make one column wider, then it automatically makes other columns narrower.
However, there is a button on the toolbar with the tooltip "Resize columns freely", as shown below:

If you click on this button, it changes the behaviour so that you can resize each column without affecting the size of the other columns. As a consequence it will also add a horizontal scroll bar.

It is also possible to reorder the columns by dragging the columns headers, so you can move English and Danish to the left.

At present, there is no way to hide individual languages. It wouldn't be difficult to implement, so I will try to do it fairly soon.

Thanks for your answer - this helps a lot! Looking forward to the feature though (can imagine it will speed up the translation process as well)

Any update on this feature? The speed is not improved after moving to 15 languages :-)

I have just uploaded version 5.0x.0078.

There is a new button on the toolbar which opens a drop down menu in which you can toggle the visibility of each language column, or show or hide all language columns.

Will it save the visibility preference for each language? I kind of "never" want to look at some languages.. And hiding 15 columns each time I start the tool would be nice to avoid..

But anyway - the hide feature itself was most important! Thank you very much! :-)
