Bug when using diacritics (ë,é,ç,..)

Hello Phil,

http://screencast.com/t/NzgxOTA1Y

The addon marks them incorrectly as differences. I am using build 4.65.0072

If I give focus to the row than all is ok : it suddenly sees that they are the same

Hi Tom,

sorry, but I haven't really looked at this issue yet.

I have in fact looked at it before, and not been able to reproduce it, so I am going to have to try a bit harder! After all, this is basic functionality which really has to work.

I will try to investigate it during this week.

Hello Tom,

I have just uploaded a new version (4.65.0075) which I think will solve this problem. I was reading the ASP file using a StreamReader object, with the wrong encoding.

Previously, I was simply specifying the filename to the StreamReader constructor, assuming that it would get the encoding right. Now I am specifying Encoding=System.Text.Encoding.Default and detectEncodingFromByteOrderMarks=True, which seems to fix the problem.

By the way, in the project you sent me some weeks ago, some of the ASP files are encoded as UTF-8 and some are ansi. For example CheckVatNumber.ascx is ansi, but ophaalpunten_SendCollectionReport.ascx is UTF-8. The incorrect characters were only read from the ansi files.
