Lightswitch support

Hi Phil,

I have been using your product for Winform projects for some years now and quite happy about it. I will however change focus into using Microsoft Lightswitch as the development platform.

Have you considered supporting this?

(Localization is somewhat absent in Lightswitch except for built-in dialogs and regional settings, but a solution where the client defining xml as well as the source gets versionized for each language would allow for automated build of a version for each required language.)

Hi Jens,

I haven't really considered it yet. To be honest, I don't really know much about Lightswitch.

Have I understood correctly, that Lightswitch was a standalone product, but it is now part of Visual Studio 2012?

I don't think I would be doing anything in a separate product, but if it is integrated into Visual Studio I would consider it.

Hi,

Yes, it is fully integrated as a feature in VS2012 now. It's very much upgraded and promoted quite strongly by Microsoft. Beth Massi is the senior product manager. Google her name and you will see lots of blogs, videos and examples.
